Australia 1934 Perth to Victoria River Downs cover signed by Pilot Hussey. (Eustis 429a).
Captain H B Bert Hussey left Perth at 100 on 3 October 1934 to inaugurate the MacRobertson-Miller Perth WA to Daly Waters NT service. The aircraft was a DH84 Dragon VH-URW Pilbara.
On 4 October after taking off from Onslow for Roebourne the aircraft hit a ridge and the undercarriage collapsed.
Arthur Affleck in DH84 VH-URY Murchison flew from Perth and arrived late morning at Onslow. There he uplifted passengers and mail and completed the inaugral service to Daly Waters arriving 7 October.
