Cover cancelled Christchurch 530PM 14 FEB31 and Gisborne 13MR31 730PM bearing black cachet and pilot’s signature.
The Hastings – Gisborne timetable was altered for the return flight and the aircraft left Hastings at 1130 arriving at Gisborne at 1245. These regular flights continued until December 1932. East Coast Airways established a permanent service in April 1935. Cover authenticated on rear.
